Welcome to Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital!

We appreciate your interest in making Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital your veterinary medical care provider of choice.

Below you’ll find a little bit more about our hospital, services, and appointment protocols. We look forward to speaking with you further about your pet(s) care!

Our Hospital

We are a full-service dog and cat animal hospital committed to providing compassionate, professional, and honest care.

Our Team

At Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital, our veterinarian and staff create a caring environment where your pets are treated as members of our family. We do not adhere to the old school philosophy of “a shot and a pill” serving either the patient or the owner well.

Our Facility

We are located at 1102 E 23rd Street, Independence, Missouri not far off 291 Highway in a stand-alone facility with ample parking.  When you step through our front doors, you’ll experience a charming, warm, and comfortable atmosphere – where it’s more like visiting an old friend than a stuffy vet clinic.

Our Services

Our goal is to partner with you to ensure your pet has a long, healthy, and happy life by providing full-service medicine and surgery, with specialties like in house ultrasonography and oncology services.

Your First Appointment

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we’ll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. Please make sure all pets are secured in a travel crate or on a leash. This is for the safety of your pet and others.

In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor. Then, one of our veterinarians will examine your pet, ask you further questions and then may recommend diagnostic tests if needed. Once the tests have been run, which can usually be done in practice, your doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan if warranted. This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing.

Our veterinary technician will likely come back to wrap things up and will provide you with helpful pet care information and answer wellness and care questions for you. Our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any follow-up.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of treatment. We accept cash, check, debit, and major credit cards. For first time visitors, we do not allow checks.

Due to an increase in no call, no shows, we require a $52.65 deposit for new clients. This will be applied to your bill when the appointment has concluded.

See You Soon!

We look forward to meeting you and your furry family member in the near future!
